Platform-Specific Accounts
MT4 and MT5 Accounts Are Separate:
MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) accounts are not interchangeable.
You can only use MT4 credentials to log into the MT4 platform.
Similarly, you can only use MT5 credentials to log into the MT5 platform.
Opening a New Account
Creating a New Account:
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change an account type from MT4 to MT5 or vice versa.
If you wish to trade on a different platform, you will need to open a new trading account in your Personal Area.
You can just download the terminal according to your opened account.
